full body massage
A range of different massages are available; secretroot deep theraputic massage,
traditional ‘abhyanga’ oil massage, and massage with a heated pouch of ayurvedic
herbs and medicines.
‘shirodara’ head
treatment
A steady stream of warm ayurvedic oil poured onto the centre of the forehead,
followed by head massage. Beneficial for blood pressure and headaches, and for
promoting peaceful sleep
herbal steam bath
A sweat therapy using a combination of specially selected herbs and
medicines to cleanse the skin of sweat and toxins. Ideally taken after
massage.
herbal bath
A warm bath with healing herbs to complement a massage and steam
treatment, normally taken as part of a treatment programme.
